GURUDWARA SHRI AINWE SAHIB is situated in Village Saheri, Teh Morinda Distt Ropar. When SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI left Sri Anandpur Sahib with family, Guru Sahib and family got separated from each other on bank of River Sarsa at place Where Gurudwara Shri Privar Vichora Sahib is situated. After getting separated from Guru Sahib Mata Gujari Ji, Sahibjada Zorawar Singh Ji and Sahibjada Fateh Singh Ji came to Village Saheri with their cook Gangu. Gangu Made Mata Ji and Sahibjada Jis wait here at Sadhus hut and went to village to see the situation. In those days this place was dense forest. When Sadhu came back and asked Mata Ji and Sahibjada Jis who are you, Mata Ji replied we just stopped casually (Ainwe). Letr gangu came and took Mata ji and Sahibjada Jis to his house in Saheri. As per Mata jis wording this place is known as Gurdwara Sri Aiwen Sahib.
