GURUDWARA SHRI KHICHRI SAHIB is situated in the village Balbera of Distt Patiala. When SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI came to Karhali and cured a man suffering from leprosy, the news spread around the area. People started coming for GURU SAHIB's darshan and blessing. One old lady came for GURU SAHIB's darshan but by the time she reached GURU SAHIB had left. She followed GURU SAHIB and met him here. She offered food to GURU SAHIB. Then GURU SAHIB blessed this place that who so ever will offer Khichri (porridge) here, there Jaundice problem will be cured. When SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI was going to Delhi, he also stopped here while moving further to Cheeka.
