GURUDWARA SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB is situated in Village Makorar Distt Sangrur. This village is situated on the Border of Punjab and Haryana. As name defies This GURUDWARA SAHIB is related to SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI who came here while on going to Assam. GURU SAHIB stayed here for 2 days. First day a hindu gujar when saw GURU SAHIB, he brought milk in GURU SAHIB's sewa. And Same time Bhai Gurditta Ji a devotee of GURU SAHIB also brought milk for GURU SAHIB. GURU SAHIB accepted Bhai Gurditta Ji's offering, When Gujar inquired about his offering, GURU SAHIB told him that buffalo's and Cows are not his own. They are stolen ones. Gujar fell on GURU SAHIB;s feet and requested that there children don't live for long. They dies in early age and because of that there family is not growing up. GURU SAHIB blessed them that their family will grow from now onwards. And also instructed Bhai Gurditta ji to not to use Tambacoo in his family.
