GURUDWARA SHRI GURU TEGBHADUR SAHIB JI is situated in Mahalla Nichi Baag, Banaras (Varanasi). SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB reached here travelling through Delhi, Mathura, Agra, Kanpur Allahabad etc. When GURU SAHIB reached allahabad, Baba Kalyan Ji, Disciple of SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI came to know about this. He was over 100 yrs of age. He couldnt travell but did a prayer and requested GURU SAHIB to visit here. Accepting his request GURU SAHIB reached here. GURU SAHIB stayed here for few months and tought the message given by SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI. SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI's disciple Bhai Kalyan Ji used to worship SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI. Along with GURU SAHIB was Mata gujari Ji, Mata Nanaki Ji, Mama Kirpal Das Ji and other followers. One day Bhai Kalyan Ji asked GURU SAHIB lets go to Ganga and have bath in it as it was Suraj Grahan(Eclipse Day). GURU SAHIB said ask Ganga to give us darshan here only. Bhai Kalyana Ji was surprised, GURU SAHIB removed a stone and fresh water started flowing out of it. When there was lot of water oin the compund GURU SAHIB placed stone on the same place again. That place still exist in the GURUDWARA SAHIB. When GURU SAHIB was about to leave for further journey, Bhai Kalyan Ji and Sangat requested GURU SAHIB that how they will bear there sepration. GURU SAHIB gifted them there Chola Sahib and Jora Sahib. Later BAL GOBIND RAI JI(SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI) at the age of seven years, while going to Shri Anandpur Sahib from Shri Patna Sahib also stayed there. GURU SAHIB also stayed here for few days. BAL GOBIND RAI JI also gifted them with there Jora Sahib. All the three sacred things are still preserved here.
