GURUDWARA SHRI DEHRA SAHIB is situated in Lahore City Pakistan. Situated near Lahore fort this place marks the place where SHRI GURU ARJAN DEV JI was martyred in 1606 on order of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. Earlier GURU SAHIB was tutored for several days at place where GURUDWARA SHRI LAL KHOOHI SAHIB is situated. GURU SAHIB was made to sit on Hot plate with fire burning under it and hot sand was poured on him. On Fifth day GURU SAHIB asked to take bath and at this place he submerged into the Ravi river and never turned again.
