GURUDWARA SHRI AKALGARH SAHIB is situated in Village Gharuan Distt S A S Nagar,(Mohali). SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI came here at Village Gharuan from Anandpur Sahib. Bhai Imardhas Dhirmalye felt jealous of GURU SAHIB and didnt offered any place to sit at the Place where Shri Guru Harrai Sahib had visited. GURU SAHIB came out of Village and sat on near the village Pond in the Baag. One night passed away. Next day Balpram, a carpenter came and bowed head in front of GURU SAHIB. GURU SAHIB accepted his services and blessed him that your family will grow. He requested GURU SAHIB that there is disease of Tapdec in his family. GURU SAHIB asked to take bath in the pond and everything will be good. GURU SAHIB further blessed that who so ever will take bath here and do five sukhmani sahib path he/she will be free from life cycle.
